    Cold War is the latest film from Polish filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski, follow-up to his Oscar-winning drama Ida. Like that deeply intimate story of a young nun discovering the truth of her ancestry in post-war Poland, Cold War unfolds in the years after World War II, as that country begins to rebuild both its cities and its reputation, each quite damaged from years of combat and propaganda.
